kiama house

set right on the coast, this luxury residence is defined by a series of strong horizontal forms that extend and cantilever. with such a prominent location, each projection became deliberate to frame the views, assisted by the expansive glazing and splayed concrete columns. the idea was to create a sculptural home that embraces luxury, supported by premium finishes and a sculptural helical staircase as you enter the house.

the living spaces and master bedroom are open towards the ocean, allowing the house to fully engage with its setting. large expanses of glazing dissolve the boundary between inside and out, leading to an infinity pool that draws the horizon into the everyday life. transparency is key, it’s the kind of place where you’re not entirely sure where the house ends and the view begins.
